Our History
Dr. Tracy McBee wanted to become a dentist in the sixth grade. Straight out of dental school, she worked as an associate dentist for a private practice, where she became inspired to open her own dental office. With this foundation, Dr. McBee opened her practice in May 2005.
For nearly ten years, Dr. McBee and her team treated patients of all ages throughout Lubbock County and the surrounding areas at our original location. In November 2014, we opened our new office in southwest Lubbock on Milwaukee Avenue. Our team is happy to serve patients we treated at our original location, as well as patients who have since joined us at our new location!
Dr. McBee was chosen by her peers to be included in Lubbock Magazine’s Top Dentists 2014 in the General Dentistry field. Our dental office was awarded the Best of Lubbock for Dentists in 2021.
Meet Our Dentist
Dr. Tracy Rene Henson-McBee
Dr. Tracy Rene Henson-McBee is a native Texan. She was born in Lubbock, Texas, to Robert and Henri (Henrietta) Henson. She has a twin sister named Stacy, who is the girls head basketball coach at Fossil Ridge High School in Keller. She also has an older sister, Cindy Hogue, and an older brother, Jon Henson.
She grew up in Meadow, a small town 25 miles southwest of Lubbock. She graduated from Meadow High School in 1990, and from Angelo State University in 1994, with a Bachelor of Science degree (major in Biology/minor in Chemistry). She graduated in May 1998 from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio Dental School with her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. Dr. McBee loves dentistry and knew as a sixth grader that she wanted to become a dentist. She enjoys the relationship that she forms with each patient, and feels so blessed to be involved in an occupation that can improve people’s self-esteem by creating a beautiful smile.
People in and around Lubbock are not like people anywhere else. It is very gratifying to be able to help hard-working people in the area. Lubbock’s economy is driven by agriculture, which Dr. McBee understands because her dad was a cotton farmer before retiring in 2008.
Dr. McBee makes it a priority to stay up-to-date on the latest dental technology. She attends numerous dental courses each year to keep her knowledge of dentistry current. Technology is evident in her office with the patient favorite, Waterlase MD Dental Laser, that allows her to do fillings without anesthetic.
Dr. McBee’s office and staff are very personal, and they make each patient feel at home and at ease. Her office is not a large office that operates in large volumes. Patients are not herded in and out like cattle. Each patient is treated like family and has access to Dr. McBee more easily than other dental or medical offices. She takes her job very seriously, but she manages to do so in a fun way. It is not uncommon for a patient to tell her: “That was the best dental visit I have ever had.”
Dr. McBee is involved in organized dentistry. She is a member of the South Plains District Dental Society, the Texas Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, swimming, exercising, wakeboarding, playing basketball, watching sports, and being involved with her boys in their extracurricular activities.

Adrianna
EOD, Everything but Dentist
My name is Adrianna, I am the EOD (Everything but dentist).
I was born and raised in Lubbock, TX by my parents, Geno and Yolanda Moreno and am the youngest of three siblings. I am currently going to school for ministry and when I am not at work, you can always find me at my church.
When calling to schedule an appointment, I am most likely the person you will be talking to. I handle all of the appointments, billing, and insurance.
In this office, there is a strong group of ladies who care, love, and want for you to have the best experience. They all make you feel welcomed and heard with no judgement.
Working with Dr. McBee has been an answered prayer. She cares for her patients with all of her heart and loves so deeply. She provides so much attention to her patients and puts all she has into making sure you are comfortable and getting the exact care you need. There is such a sweet atmosphere walking into the office which makes patients feel more at ease and comfortable with their visit.

My name is Sabrina!
I’ve been a registered dental hygienist for 29 years.
I was raised in Snyder, TX and graduated dental hygiene school at Howard College in Big Spring.
We moved to Lubbock in June of 2022. My husband, Matt, is a TX DPS CID Major and we have two boys, Wyatt and Jake, and also have a yellow lab, Mowgli.
In my free time I love to run and attend Orange Theory Fitness.
I joined the team at Dr. McBee’s office in August of 2023 and have loved every minute of it! Dr. McBee is not only wise but also very gentle and treats all patients with respect. I adore her staff and appreciate the knowledge of each team member.

My name is Kayla, I grew up in the big town of Smyer, Tx. By my parents Daniel and Jennifer Lee. I have two younger sisters; Destiny and Jaden. I married my best friend; Kody in June of 2021 and we now have a beautiful daughter named Kollyns. In my spare time I love hunting, playing with our 2 dogs, traveling, and spending time with family.
I became a Registered Dental Assistant in 2020. I enjoy helping our patients achieve a healthy smile they love, and making sure they are comfortable throughout the whole process.
I was a patient of Dr. McBee’s before I started working here and always told my husband I would love to work at this office one day. God opened a door of opportunity just 6 weeks after I had my daughter. I’m so glad I was given the opportunity to work with some of the sweetest girls and one amazing Dentist. Dr. McBee has such a big heart, and cares greatly about her patients and staff. I’m blessed to work in an office that feels like one big family.

My name is Brenna. I was born and raised in Grafton, WI, by my parents Susan and Steve Kiehnau. I have one older brother, Nick. When I am not assisting, I like to spend time with family and friends, shop, and play around with make-up.
In February of 2018, I relocated to Lubbock, TX, after meeting my other half, Brandon, at the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee, WI. In addition to the Texas heat, my favorite part of being here is the endless food options.
I completed the dental assistant course at Today’s Dentistry in Cedarburg, WI, in 2015 and have been practicing ever since. My family and I always knew the dental field was in my future. I have learned so much and enjoy every minute of being in dentistry.
Working alongside Dr. McBee, I have been able to experience a lot of new technology, one being the Waterlase MD. This advanced laser technology has been such a positive experience to observe. Patients who are apprehensive about their dental visit, typically get to have a pain-free and less anxious experience.
Dr. McBee is an amazing person to work for. She is very kind hearted, and it shows how much she really cares for her patients. The attention she provides to her patients truly exhibits her compassion and love for people and dentistry. I look forward to many memories and years with Dr. McBee and her staff!
