Restorative Services

Waterlase® Fillings

Nobody enjoys a cavity filling ‒ but now, with the Waterlase laser, fillings are nothing to dread!

Precise, gentle, and comfortable, Waterlase uses water and laser energy to penetrate and remove tooth decay, minimizing damage, pain, and side effects in the process.

After removing the decay, we’ll fill the cavity with tooth-colored composite resin to restore your tooth’s natural color and appearance.

Dental Crowns & Bridges

A decaying or broken tooth is not something that should go untreated. A dental crown, which is custom created and placed over a damaged tooth, restores its strength, function, natural color, and shape.

When a patient has multiple damaged or missing teeth, dental bridges can restore function to the affected area. A dental bridge consists of two or more crowns cemented onto adjacent teeth and covers the area where there are missing teeth.

Both dental crowns and bridges are non-removable and can permanently restore a person’s ability to chew and speak properly.

Dentures & Partials

Losing teeth can be a life-altering event. If not replaced, missing teeth can lead to further tooth loss, jawbone deterioration, and other complications.

If you’re ready to restore the structure and integrity of your smile, choose the office of Tracy R. Henson-McBee, DDS, PA. Whether you need one or all of your teeth replaced, we can create comfortable full or partial dentures that are custom designed to your unique mouth, teeth, and jaw specifications. Contact us today to schedule a consultation or learn more about dentures.

Dental Implants

Missing teeth? Dental implants offer a durable, natural-looking solution that restores both function and aesthetics.
Implants are surgically placed into the jawbone, where they integrate and provide a strong foundation for replacement teeth such as crowns or bridges.
Enjoy long-lasting results that maintain bone health, bite alignment, and your overall oral well-being.

Tooth Extractions

While preserving natural teeth is always our goal, sometimes a tooth must be removed to protect your overall dental health.
Whether due to trauma, severe decay, or overcrowding, our gentle extraction process is designed to keep you comfortable.
Following extraction, we’ll discuss replacement options such as bridges, dentures, or implants to keep your smile strong and complete.

Full Mouth Reconstruction

Have multiple dental concerns? A full mouth reconstruction combines various restorative treatments into a custom, comprehensive plan.
From implants and crowns to dentures and fillings, we’ll work with you to restore the look, feel, and function of your entire mouth.
Let us help you achieve a confident, healthy smile—no matter how complex your dental needs.

Root Canal Therapy

When tooth decay or infection reaches the inner pulp, root canal therapy offers a chance to save your natural tooth.
This procedure gently removes the infected tissue, cleans the inner chamber, and seals the tooth to prevent future damage.
Root canals not only relieve pain and preserve your smile—they also protect against more invasive treatments like extractions or implants.

Inlays & Onlays

Too much damage for a filling, but not enough for a crown? Inlays and onlays offer the perfect in-between solution.
Custom-crafted to fit your tooth, these restorations are bonded securely to restore structure and prevent further decay.
Made from durable, tooth-colored materials, they blend beautifully with your smile while preserving healthy enamel.

Tooth-Colored Composite Fillings

Composite fillings provide a seamless, natural-looking solution to treat cavities and restore tooth function.
Matched to your natural tooth color, these fillings are strong, durable, and aesthetically pleasing—making them ideal for front or back teeth.
Enjoy cavity care without the metallic look of traditional amalgam fillings.

FAQs

How often should I visit the dentist for exams and cleanings?

The American Dental Association recommends dental exams and cleanings every six months, although your specific needs may vary. Routine dental visits help your dentist detect and address issues like cavities or gum disease early—before they become more serious. If your oral health has been consistently good, twice-yearly visits are usually enough.

What can I expect during a routine dental cleaning?

During a routine dental cleaning, our hygienist will remove plaque and tartar buildup, polish your teeth, and provide guidance on maintaining oral hygiene. The dentist will then examine your teeth and gums for any signs of issues like cavities, gum disease, or oral cancer.

Do you offer oral cancer screenings?

Yes, we include oral cancer screenings as part of our comprehensive dental exams. Early detection is crucial, and our team is trained to identify any abnormal signs during your visit.

What are the signs that I might need a tooth extraction?

Signs that may indicate the need for a tooth extraction include severe tooth decay, infection, overcrowding, or a tooth that is broken beyond repair. We assess each case individually to determine the best course of action.

How do you treat gum disease?

We utilize advanced techniques, including deep cleaning procedures and, when necessary, diode laser therapy to treat gum disease effectively. Our goal is to restore your gum health and prevent further complications.

What is TMD, and how is it treated?

Temporomandibular Disorder (TMD) affects the jaw joints and muscles, leading to pain and dysfunction. Symptoms include jaw pain, clicking sounds, and difficulty chewing. We offer treatments such as diode laser therapy to alleviate discomfort and improve jaw function.

Do you provide cosmetic dentistry services?

Yes, we offer a range of cosmetic dentistry services, including teeth whitening, veneers, and more, to enhance the appearance of your smile. Our team works with you to achieve your desired aesthetic results.

Are dental X-rays safe?

Dental X-rays are a safe and essential diagnostic tool. We use digital X-rays, which emit lower levels of radiation compared to traditional methods, ensuring patient safety while providing detailed images for accurate diagnosis.

What should I do in case of a dental emergency?

If you experience a dental emergency, such as a knocked-out tooth, severe pain, or a broken tooth, contact our office immediately. We provide prompt care to address urgent dental issues and alleviate discomfort.

Do you accept dental insurance?

We are not in-network with any insurance provider. However, we can provide you with the necessary documentation to submit claims to your insurance company. Please contact our office for more information on payment options.
