At the same time, we provide you with the highest standard of general, cosmetic, and restorative dental treatment. Our History
Dr. Tracy McBee wanted to become a dentist in the sixth grade. Straight out of dental school, she worked as an associate dentist for a private practice, where she became inspired to open her own dental office. With this foundation, Dr. McBee opened her practice in May 2005.
For nearly ten years, Dr. McBee and her team treated patients of all ages throughout Lubbock County and the surrounding areas at our original location. In November 2014, we opened our new office in southwest Lubbock on Milwaukee Avenue. Our team is happy to serve patients we treated at our original location, as well as patients who have since joined us at our new location!
Dr. McBee was chosen by her peers to be included in Lubbock Magazine’s Top Dentists 2014 in the General Dentistry field. Our dental office was awarded the Best of Lubbock for Dentists in 2021.
Meet Our Dentist
Dr. Tracy Rene Henson-McBee
Dr. Tracy Rene Henson-McBee is a native Texan. She was born in Lubbock, Texas, to the late Robert and Henri (Henrietta) Henson. She has a twin sister named Stacy, who is a retired high school basketball coach. She also has an older sister, Cindy Hogue, and an older brother, Jon Henson.
She grew up in Meadow, a small town 25 miles southwest of Lubbock. She graduated from Meadow High School in 1990, and from Angelo State University in 1994, with a Bachelor of Science degree (major in Biology/minor in Chemistry). She graduated in May 1998 from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio Dental School with her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. Three weeks after graduating from dental school, Dr. McBee married James McBee from Ballinger, TX. James is a working cowboy. They live in the country near Meadow and have two boys: Riley and Tate. Her family keeps her very busy when she is not in the office.
Dr. McBee loves dentistry and knew as a sixth grader that she wanted to become a dentist. She enjoys the relationship that she forms with each patient, and feels so blessed to be involved in an occupation that can improve people’s self-esteem by creating a beautiful smile.
People in and around Lubbock are not like people anywhere else. It is very gratifying to be able to help hard-working people in the area. Lubbock’s economy is driven by agriculture, which Dr. McBee understands because her dad was a cotton farmer before retiring in 2008.
Dr. McBee makes it a priority to stay up-to-date on the latest dental technology. She attends numerous dental courses each year to keep her knowledge of dentistry current. Technology is evident in her office with the patient favorite, Waterlase MD Dental Laser, that allows her to do fillings without anesthetic.
Dr. McBee’s office and staff are very personal, and they make each patient feel at home and at ease. Her office is not a large office that operates in large volumes. Patients are not herded in and out like cattle. Each patient is treated like family and has access to Dr. McBee more easily than other dental or medical offices. She takes her job very seriously, but she manages to do so in a fun way. It is not uncommon for a patient to tell her: “That was the best dental visit I have ever had.”
Dr. McBee is a member of the South Plains District Dental Society, the Texas Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, swimming, exercising, surfing, wakeboarding, watching sports, and playing with their new granddaughter Finley Jane.

My name is Sabrina!
I’ve been a registered dental hygienist for 29 years.
I was raised in Snyder, TX and graduated dental hygiene school at Howard College in Big Spring.
We moved to Lubbock in June of 2022. My husband, Matt, is a TX DPS CID Major and we have two boys, Wyatt and Jake, and also have a yellow lab, Mowgli.
In my free time I love to run and attend Orange Theory Fitness.
I joined the team at Dr. McBee’s office in August of 2023 and have loved every minute of it! Dr. McBee is not only wise but also very gentle and treats all patients with respect. I adore her staff and appreciate the knowledge of each team member.

My name is Brenna, and I was born and raised in Grafton, Wisconsin, by my parents, Susan and Steve, along side my older brother, Nick. In 2018, I relocated to Lubbock, Texas, after meeting my husband, Brandon. Since then, we’ve built a family together with our two boys, Bryce and Brooks, and are excited to welcome our baby girl in February 2027.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, whether we’re visiting Wisconsin or enjoying life here in Lubbock. In my free time, I love reading, exploring new restaurants, decorating and organizing my home!
I completed the dental assistant program at Today’s Dentistry in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, in 2015, and I’ve enjoyed working in the dental field ever since. I’m grateful to work alongside Dr. McBee and a team that values compassionate care and making patients feel comfortable. I look forward to continuing to learn, grow, and build lasting relationships with our patients for years to come!

I grew up in Smyer, Texas.
My husband, Kody and I have been married since June 21. We have two beautiful daughters, Kollyns and Kelby, who are the biggest blessings in our lives.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, hunting, shopping, playing with my girls, and traveling to new places.
I have been a Dental Assistant since 2020. Ive worked alongside Dr. McBee since November of 2022. I’m grateful to work with such a compassionate team who values making patients feel comfortable. I look forward to building relationships with my patients and making them feel as comfortable as they can.

Hi, my name is Rebecca!
I was born and raised in Dalhart, I attended Texas Tech before going to dental hygiene school in Amarillo and graduating from Amarillo College. I have been a registered dental hygienist for 30+ years!
I am married to Cody and together we have 4 kids, our family is our world! Cody works for Western Equipment in Olton. I moved to the Lubbock area in July 2024 and began working for Dr. McBee at the end of March 2025!
In my free time I love to cook all things, we have a fantastic garden in the summer, shopping and most of all spending time with my family and friends! We love all things Texas Tech!!
I never dreamed after working in Dalhart for 25 years that I would be able to find a dentist or an office I would love as much as I did in Dalhart! To my surprise Dr. McBee and her staff are amazing. Dr. McBee is not only smart, loving, and caring but very gentle in her treatment of all patients! I love she is always wanting to learn new things and she keeps us on our toes with all her knowledge. This move to the south plains is one of the hardest things I have done, but Dr. McBee and her staff have been very uplifting and encouraging in my transition.

My name is Shannon, and I am the newest team member. I was raised in Lubbock, Texas. In 2004 I moved to Granbury where I married her husband, Rynn. Our daughter, Bayleigh was born in 2004 and is currently a Senior at Texas Tech. I has a bonus daughter, Rachael, who recently had our first granddaughter, Brittie Lynn.
My husband and I have spent the majority of our careers in Granbury, Texas.
I have been in the dental field for 24 years.
Upon my husband’s retirement from DPS, we decided to move back home to Lubbock in June of 2026.
When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, long walks, yoga, the beauty of nature, and taking care of my plants.
I joined the practice in late July, I am eager to work alongside Dr. McBee and her team of wonderful women!
